Andrew C Ferguson is married with one daughter, and lives in Glenrothes. His first literary prize was an Action Man Scorpion Tank and two Action Men (the ones with beards) at age 10 or so, and he has struggled to beat the emotional punch of this ever since.

A co-written non-fiction book, Legacy of the Sacred Chalice, was published by Macoy in the States in 2003. Three more books have been written in partnership with C Bruce Hunter, on similarly esoteric thingies. A law book written on his own was published in March 2006 by Avizandum.

Andrew’s short fiction has been published in various mainstream and genre magazines, and in various anthologies such as The Hope that Kills Us (an anthology of Scottish football stories) Sporty Spec: Games of the Fantastic, A Mosque Among the Stars and Nova Scotia: New Scottish Speculative Fiction.

Poetry of various kinds has appeared recently in Chapman, Brand, Iota, Word Salad Magazine, Shantytown Anomaly and Farrago’s Wainscot. His poetry pamphlet on the theme of chess, Head to Head, co-written with Jane McKie, is available from Knucker Press (www.knuckerpress.com).
